"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) chose a signet ring of gold, and he used to wear it on his right hand. The people therefore chose signet rings of gold, so he threw it away (Allah bless him and give him peace) and said: 'I shall never wear it!' The people therefore threw their signet rings away.”
“Ihe pommel of the sword of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was made of silver.”

When he took it off, a man came to him and told him: ‘Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba,’ so he said: ‘Kill him!’ Ibn Shihab said: ‘It has also reached me that Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was not in the state of ritual consecration on that day.’”

"'Uthman ibn 'Affan used to wear a loincloth reaching the middle parts of his shins, and he said: 'In this manner was the loincloth of my Companion', meaning the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace).”
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) took hold of the calf of my legs or his leg, and he said: 'This is the position of the loincloth, and if you object, then somewhat lower down, but if you object, the loincloth has no right to the ankles'.”
"I have not seen anything more beautiful than Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). The sun seemed to shine in his face. Nor have I seen anyone more rapid in his gait than Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). The earth seemed to be folded up for him. We must strenuously exert ourselves, while he is not subject to any stress."
“When "Ali described the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), he said: ‘When he walked, he moved as if he were descending a declivity'.”

His paternal uncle said that he saw the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) lying on his back in the mosque, placing one of his legs over the other.
“When Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) sat in the mosque, he pressed his legs against his stomach with his hands.”
"I saw Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) leaning on a cushion on his left side.”
“Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘Should I tell you about the greatest of the major sins?’ They said: ‘Yes indeed, O Messenger of Allah!’ He said: ‘Associating partners with Allah, and recalcitrance against parents.’ Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) sat down, and he was leaning on a support. He added: '...and false testimony’ or: ‘false speech.’ Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) went on speaking until we said: ‘If only he would keep silent!”

"I went in to see Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) during his illness in which he died, and on his head there was a yellow band. I greeted him with the salutation of peace, so he said: 'O Fadl!”'I said: 'Doubly at your service, O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'Wrap my head firmly with this band!' I acted accordingly, then he sat and placed the palm of his hand on my shoulder. Then he stood up and entered the mosque.” (This tradition is part of a longer story.)

“Allah’s Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not eat food on a table, nor in a bowl, and no bread rolled thin and flat was baked for him. I asked Qatada: ‘So on what were they used to eating?’ He said: ‘On these pieces of skin .”
"I went in to see 'A'isha, so she ordered a meal for me, and she said: “I do not eat my fill from a meal, for I feel like weeping, if I have not wept.” I said: “Why?” She said: “I remember the state in which Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) departed from this world. By Allah, he did not eat his fill of bread and meat twice in one day!”
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not eat his fill of barley-bread for two days in a row until he died.”
“Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not eat food on a table, and he did not eat bread rolled thin and flat, until he died.”

He replied: 'I saw it eating something putrid, so I swore that I would not eat it.' He said: 'Draw near, for I have seen Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) eating the meat of chickens'!”
