muwatta_malik:1826وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ، فَقَالَ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ عِنْدِي، قَفْعَةً نَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar said, ''Umar ibn al-Khattab was asked about locusts. He said, 'I would like to have a basket of them, from which we could eat.' "
