muwatta_malik:122حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ هُوَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مِنَ الْجُرُفِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَا بِالْمِرْبَدِ نَزَلَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَتَيَمَّمَ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar and he were approaching Juruf. When they got to Mirbad, Abdullah got down and did tayammum with some good earth. He wiped his face, and his arms to the elbows, and then prayed.
