The Hadeeth of Saqeefah· حَدِيثُ السَّقِيفَةِ
musnad_ahmad:374حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said: “Whoever buys foodstuff should not sell it until he takes possession of all of it.”
