Fifth wife of the Prophet ﷺ. From Banū ʿĀmir ibn Ṣaʿṣaʿa. Her first husband ʿAbd Allāh ibn Jaḥsh was martyred at Uḥud (3 AH). Married the Prophet ﷺ shortly after. Famous for her care for the poor — hence her kunya "Umm al-Masākīn". Died only 8 months after marriage, the only wife (besides Khadīja) to die in his lifetime.
