Abu Dujana Simak bin Kharasha was a companion of Prophet Muhammad and a renowned swordsman known for his bravery in early Islamic battles.

Abu Dujana, born Simak ibn Kharasha, belonged to the Banu Sa'idah tribe of the Ansar during the era of Prophet Muhammad. He participated notably in the Battle of Uhud, where he wore a distinctive red scarf symbolising his readiness to fight until death and was personally entrusted with a sword by the Prophet. Abu Dujana demonstrated exceptional courage, protecting Muhammad and engaging fiercely with enemy forces. He was wounded during the Battle of Yamama in 632 CE and later died from these injuries. He is remembered for his bravery and is mentioned in several major Hadith collections. His actions significantly boosted Muslim morale during critical battles.
