Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them· كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنة فيها
sunan_ibn_majah:1017حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِـ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ } .
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite in the ‘Eid prayer “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High.” and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?”
