sunan_abi_dawud:1963حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا لأَنَّهُ اتَّخَذَهَا وَطَنًا .
Uthman prayed four rak'ahs (at Mina) for he made it his home (for settlement).
