sunan_abi_dawud:1848حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " خَمْسٌ قَتْلُهُنَّ حَلاَلٌ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " .
Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) as saying There are five(creatures) the killing of which is lawful in the sacred territory. The Snake, the Scorpion, the Kite, the Rat and the biting Dog.
