sahih_bukhari:3899وَعَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو عَلَى صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَسُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَالْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ فَنَزَلَتْ {لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ}.
Salim bin `Abdullah said' "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to invoke evil upon Safwan bin Umaiya, Suhail bin `Amr and Al-Harith bin Hisham. So the Verse was revealed: -- "Not for you (O Muhammad!)......(till the end of Verse) For they are indeed wrong-doers." (3.128)
