riyad_as_salihin:642وعن سهل بن حنيف رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من سأل الله تعالى الشهادة بصدق بلغه الله منازل الشهداء وإن مات على فراشه" ((رواه مسلم)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who supplicates Allah sincerely for martyrdom, Allah will elevate him to the station of the martyrs, even if he dies on his bed.".
