riyad_as_salihin:500وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "إذا قام أحدكم من الليل فليفتتح الصلاة بركعتين خفيفتين" ((رواه مسلم)).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When one of you gets up at night to perform (Tahajjud) prayer, let him start Salat with two short Rak'ah.".
