riyad_as_salihin:193وعن ربعي بن حراش قال: حدثنا رجل من بني عامر استأذن علي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو في بيت، فقال: أألج؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لخادمه: "أخرج إلي هذا وعلمه الاستئذان، فقل له: قل: السلام عليكم، أأدخل؟” فسمعه الرجل فقال: السلام عليكم، أأدخل؟ فأذن له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فدخل. ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح)).
A man of Banu 'Amir tribe has told us that he had asked the Prophet (ﷺ) for permission to enter when he was at home.
