The Book of Greetings· كتاب السلام
riyad_as_salihin:176وعن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن أولى الناس بالله من بدأهم بالسلام" ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد جيد، ورواه الترمذي بنحوه وقال: حديث حسن، وقد ذكر بعده)).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Those who are nearest to Allah are they who are first to give a salutation. And At- Tirmidhi narrated its meaning and classified it as Hasan.
