The Book of the Prohibited actions· كتاب الأمور المنهي عنها
riyad_as_salihin:1086وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الوصال. قالوا :إنك تواصل؟ قال: "إني لست مثلكم، إني أُطعم وأُسقى" ((متفق عليه)). ، وهذا لفظ البخاري.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited observing continuous fasts beyond one day. The Companions submitted: "But you do it." He replied, "I am not like you. I am given to eat and to drink (from Allah).".
