Musnad Uthman ibn Affan· مُسْنَدُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:512حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ شِبْلٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالُوا وَلِيَ عُثْمَانُ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ وَكَانَتْ الْفِتْنَةُ خَمْسَ سِنِينَ.
`Uthman held the position of caliph for twelve years and the turmoil lasted for five years.
