Musnad Uthman ibn Affan· مُسْنَدُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:489حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ عُثْمَانَ يَأْمُرُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ وَذَبْحِ الْحَمَامِ.
I saw `Uthman enjoining, in his khutbah, the killing of dogs and the slaughter of pigeons.
