Musnad Uthman ibn Affan· مُسْنَدُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:484حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَنَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ، مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَى صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ فَصَلَّاهَا غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ.
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `Whoever does wudoo’ and does it properly, then goes to offer an obligatory prayer and offers it, his sins will be forgiven.”
