Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)· مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:234حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي الْحَرِيرِ فِي إِصْبَعَيْنِ.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) granted a concession allowing silk the width of two fingers.
