Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)· مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:224حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ وَغَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَفْطَرْتَ.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When night comes and day departs, and the sun sets, then (it is time to) break your fast.`
