Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)· مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
musnad_ahmad:114حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبَإٍ، عُتْبَةَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُغِيثٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا.
The Prophet ﷺ ruled that the owner of a mount is more entitled to ride on the front part of it.
