mishkat_al_masabih:772وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبا بكر وَعمر رَضِي الله عَنْهُمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الصَّلَاةَ بِ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالمين» ) رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Anas said that the Prophet, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar used to begin the prayer with, “Praise be to God the Lord of the universe.” Muslim transmitted it.
