mishkat_al_masabih:484وَعَن الْمُغيرَة بن شُعْبَة قَالَ: تَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
He also said that the Prophet performed ablution and wiped over his stockings and his sandals. Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
