mishkat_al_masabih:441وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُبَالَ فِي الْمَاءِ الراكد. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir said that God’s messenger forbade passing water in motionless water. Muslim transmitted it.
