mishkat_al_masabih:4304وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَتْرُكُ فِي بَيْتِهِ شَيْئًا فِيهِ تَصَالِيبُ إِلَّا نَقَضَهُ. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
‘A’isha told that the Prophet never left in his house anything containing figures of a cross without destroying it. Bukhari transmitted it.
