mishkat_al_masabih:4287وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءَ عَنْ دُخُولِ الْحَمَّامَاتِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لِلرِّجَالِ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا بِالْمَيَازِرِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
‘A’isha said the Prophet forbade men and women from entering baths, but afterwards permitted men to enter them wearing lower garments. Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
