mishkat_al_masabih:4252عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُصُّ أَوْ يَأْخُذُ مِنْ شَارِبِهِ وَكَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ خَلِيلُ الرَّحْمَنِ صَلَوَاتُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَيْهِ يَفْعَله. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Ibn ‘Abbas said the Prophet used to clip or take something off his moustache, and Abraham the friend of the Compassionate One used to do it. Tirmidhi transmitted it.
