mishkat_al_masabih:4175وَعَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ. رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib told that the Prophet forbade red saddle-cloths. It is transmitted in Sharh as-sunna.
