mishkat_al_masabih:4155وَعَن سَمُرَة أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْبَسُوا الثِّيَابَ الْبِيضَ فَإِنَّهَا أَطْهَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَه
Samura reported the Prophet as saying, "Wear white clothes, for they are purer and better ; and shroud your dead in them." Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
