mishkat_al_masabih:4116وَعَن جابرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَائِهِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَجِدُوا سِقَاءً يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir said dates were steeped for God’s messenger in a skin, but when they could not find a skin they were steeped for him in a small stone vessel. Muslim transmitted it.
