mishkat_al_masabih:3912وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّرْبِ فِي الْوَجْهِ وَعَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْه. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir told that God’s messenger forbade striking the face and branding on the face. Muslim transmitted it.
