mishkat_al_masabih:3841وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: نَفَّلَنِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ سَيْفَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ وَكَانَ قَتَلَهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
‘Abdallah b. Mas'ud said that at the battle of Badr God’s Messenger gave him Abu Jahl’s sword, as he had killed him. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
