mishkat_al_masabih:3318وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الَّذِي يَخْنُقُ نَفْسَهُ يَخْنُقُهَا فِي النَّارِ وَالَّذِي يَطْعَنُهَا يَطْعَنُهَا فِي النَّارِ» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
He reported God's Messenger as saying, “He who strangles himself will do so in hell, and he who thrusts a spear into himself will do so in hell.” Bukhari transmitted it.
