mishkat_al_masabih:3211وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «إِذا أعْطى الله أحدكُم خيرا فليبدأ بِنَفسِهِ وَأهل بَيته» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir b. Samura reported God’s Messenger as saying, “When God prospers any of you he should spend first on himself and his family.” Muslim transmitted it.
