mishkat_al_masabih:2529عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْدَى عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي هَدَايَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَلًا كَانَ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ فِي رَأْسِهِ بُرَةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَغِيظُ بِذَلِكَ الْمُشْركين. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Ibn ‘Abbas said that in the year of al-Hudaibiya the Prophet included among his sacrificial animals a camel with a silver (a version has gold) nose-ring which had belonged to Abu Jahl,( A chief of Quraish who had been hostile to the Prophet. He was killed at Badr) thereby enraging the polytheists. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
