mishkat_al_masabih:2411وَعَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحُجَّ مَرَّتَيْنِ ". رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib said that God’s messenger performed the ‘umra twice in Dhul Qa'da before performing the hajj. Bukhari transmitted it.
