mishkat_al_masabih:2155وَعَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا فَرفع يَدَيْهِ مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ بِيَدَيْهِ رَوَى الْبَيْهَقِيُّ الْأَحَادِيثَ الثَّلَاثَة فِي «الدَّعْوَات الْكَبِير»
As-Sa’ib b. Yazid, on his father’s authority, said that when the Prophet made supplication and raised his hands, he wiped his face with them. Baihaqi transmitted the three traditions in ad-Da'awat al-kabir.
