mishkat_al_masabih:2097وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
He reported God’s messenger as saying, “He does not belong to us who does not chant the Qur’ān.” Bukhārī transmitted it.
