mishkat_al_masabih:1557وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَغَالَوْا فِي الْكَفَنِ فَإِنَّهُ يُسْلَبُ سَلْبًا سَرِيعًا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
'All reported God’s messenger as saying 'Do not be extravagant in shrouding, for it will quickly be decayed." Abu Dawud transmitted it.
