bulugh_al_maram:1517وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { نَهَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَنْ قَتْلِ أَرْبَعِ مِنْ اَلدَّوَابِّ: اَلنَّمْلَةُ, وَالنَّحْلَةُ, وَالْهُدْهُدُ, وَالصُّرَدُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ. (1732) .5 - صحيح. رواه أحمد ( 1 / 332 و 347 )، وأبو داود ( 5267 )، وابن ماجه ( 3224 ) وابن حبان ( 1078 ).
Ibn 'Abbas (RAA), The Messenger (ﷺ) prohibited killing four creatures; ants, bees, hoopoes and shirkes.' Related by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.
