bulugh_al_maram:1436وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { لَقَدْ أَنْزَلَ اَللَّهُ تَحْرِيمَ اَلْخَمْرِ, وَمَا بِالْمَدِينَةِ شَرَابٌ يَشْرَبُ إِلَّا مِنْ تَمْرٍ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .1 - حسن رواه مسلم ( 1982 ).
Anas (RAA) narrated, 'Allah sent down the verses stating the prohibition of alcohol when there was no other beverage to drink in Madinah except that prepared from dates (wine of dates).' Related by Muslim.
