al_adab_al_mufrad:969حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا جَاءَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: قَدْ أَقْبَلَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ وَهُمْ أَرَقُّ قُلُوبًا مِنْكُمْ، فَهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْمُصَافَحَةِ.
Anas ibn Malik said, "When the people of Yemen came, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'The people of Yemen have arrived and they have gentler hearts than you. They are the first to offer the handshake.'"
