Supplication· كتاب الدعاء
al_adab_al_mufrad:676حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنَى. وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَالتُّقَى.
'Abdullah said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to make this supplication, 'O Allah, I ask You for guidance, abstention and wealth.'" And it has been narrated "and heedfulness."
