al_adab_al_mufrad:618حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي، وَأَنَا مَعَهُ إِذَا دَعَانِي.
Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said that Allah Almighty said, "I am according to My slave's opinion of Me, and I am with him when He calls on Me.'"
