Extravagance in Building· كتاب السَّرَفِ فِي الْبِنَاءِ
al_adab_al_mufrad:445حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلاَئِيِّ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يَخْلُفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ}، قَالَ: فِي غَيْرِ إِسْرَافٍ، ولا تَقْتِيرٍ.
In commenting on the words of Allah Almighty, "Anything you spend will be replaced by Him. and He is the best of Providers," (34:39) Ibn 'Abbas said, "without extravagance or parsimony."
