al_adab_al_mufrad:1294حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، وَجَارِيَةٌ تَحْلِقُ عَنْهُ الشَّعْرَ، وَقَالَ: النُّورَةُ تُرِقُّ الْجِلْدَ.
'Abdul-'Aziz ibn Qays said, "I visited 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar while a slavegirl was shaving his hair." He said, "The limestone depilatory makes the skin supple."
